Our coffee experts at Coffee Roasters Australia provide professional training as part of our commitment to the coffee industry. All our training is conducted at our state of the art training facility and features training for domestic, sample, shop and commercial roasters as well as coffee lab equipment.

We cater for domestic, shop or commercial roasting training so we can accommodate most people’s requirements. Some of the topics we cover include:

• Equipment operation and maintenance
• Coffee Roasting principles and definitions
• Green bean selection and origins
• Roast profiling and logging
• Roasting chemical process and lab techniques
• Roasted coffee flavour profiles
• Temperature and time control and Blending
• Weighing, storing and bagging
• Home or commercial equipment setup, consultation and Supplier contacts

Courses are flexible and hands on and you get to take home the coffee you roast!

Course Cost: Our courses start from $500 for 2.5 hours. This cost is refundable off the price of a coffee roaster if you purchase through Coffee Roasters Australia or its agents.

Workshops and Seminars: At various times throughout the year we host extended training workshops for roasting and cupping. Keep checking our website for details of any future workshops.
